Harderwijk is an old trading town in the heart of the Netherlands and is well known throughout the country because of its history and of course the Dolfinarium. Many people have had reason to visit Harderwijk in the past, maybe as children on a school trip, or later on as members of the Dutch armed forces stationed here. Or perhaps for a visit to the Zwaluwehoeve, the friendly sauna and beauty resort, or….just to wander through the shopping streets or to enjoy a walk along the promenade.
